Noticing the Small Things | October Photo Journal

I write this sitting in bed, sipping on coffee, Floss curled up beside me and hearing the slow drops of rain outside my window; the weather has defiantly turned more cosy! I have already written a post about the changing seasons at this time of year and what I love about them, so I won’t go into too much depth here but focus more on the photos I’ve taken this October. Time has been short the last couple of months, long walks and adventures haven’t really been a possibility so I’ve been exploring very close to home. Examining hedgerows and stone walls, hunting for fungi and just enjoying the small moments and changing colours.

I have, however, started to venture back to the coast again. I tend to spend the summer hibernating from the coast, Pembrokeshire is a bit of a magnet for it’s beaches and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. But now that the busyness of summer has passed and the holiday crowds have dispersed it’s time to enjoy blustery walks and empty beaches again.
